Invocation 00:46
2.
I am the one in manifold, The root and morning star, The moon and sun, My single sire, Our skin both gold and silvery bright, I am both hottest fire and snow, Only highest heavens, could ever know my name, As above, So below, Of all the works that have and will, Arisen by the one, This world’s totality, Finds itself encased in emerald, Stone! The witch, And pay the priest, Ignore the burning truth that Simon Magus lives, In all the darkest caverns, We protect the light, You can spill your blood from stone, Or just leave it alone, Behold! Our logic’s crystal, Yet shines more dark than night, Forgotten sons and daughters of the thunder-perfect mind! As above, So below
3.
The moon is high and I’m cleansing my skin, The invocation is near, Dagger, wand and pentacle with all candles lit, I burn the sage while I focus intent, To purge terrestrial scent, Malefic retribution and revenge is in sight, And to complete the circle, I’ll tie a rope around my waist, To protect against Spectral Attack! I am the Mundi Rex, The center of it, I seek protection from hell, Michael, Ariel, Raphael and Gabriel, And to complete the circle, I’ll tie a rope around my waist, To protect against Spectral Attack! Something’s amiss, Demons surround myself, And the circle is pierced, Lucifer, Leviathan, Belial and Satan, Drag my soul into their Hell, Spectral Attack
4.
Sweet Eleanor Waved her William off to war, He would return and wed her, This was his solemn swear, Late nights perched at her window, No news of William came, Nightmares of war her only visitor, with prayers in vain, Years passed and men returned, But Eleanor was spurned, For neither William or a letter of his passing came, And on one moonlight night, Her heart in ardent pain, She called to holy father, and cursed his holy name! Why do we ride so fast It is the speed of death Please leave the dead alone! With hooves and screams they quicken pace unto their wedding bed, Beyond the valley of the dead, The horseman points, This is your marriage bed, But yet he points to open grave, Inside is William’s shattered corpse and broken armor And cast inside is Eleanor… encased in dirt and rain With hooves and screams they quicken pace unto their wedding bed, Beyond the valley of the dead, One night a rapping came, Upon her window pane, In ghostly white her William beckoned her upon his steed, With hellish speed, they rode by open graves and dancing wraiths, Denizens of hell to witness love’s embrace Why do we ride so fast It is the speed of death Please leave the dead alone!
5.
The Visitor 03:10
I see the yellow eyes in the ocean mist, Terrified can’t look away the vision still persists, “COME WITH US” the Ophidians hiss, The Tower of the serpents rises from the tides, Not one head, but two, the piercing glowing eyes, Swallowed by the flood, Embracing my demise, There’s a demon at the door, It’s a dark visitor, As I try to fall asleep I sense them in the night, The shadow man, a grinning hag, the nightmare in my sight, Petrified by fear, Knuckles turning white, Paralyzed by dreams of hell and frozen in my fright, There’s a demon at the door, It’s a dark visitor, I’m not crazy, I’m not lying, There’s a demon at the door, Possessed forevermore, Demon at the door, It’s a dark visitor

Blind Oath 03:26
You stand before the temple door, With a blindfold over your eyes, As you enter, your neck meets the edge of a blade! The dark passage leads the way To Cut away from your former self! Now recite the oath & begin anew Blind Oath! At the edge of a spear! Blind Oath! Do not succumb to your fear! Initiate! arise! Remove the blindfold from your eyes, You’ve crossed the threshold, Recite the liminal rites! Blind Oath! At the edge of a spear! Blind Oath! Do not succumb to your fear! Blind Oath! At the edge of a spear! Blind Oath! Do not succumb to your fear! Blind Oath! At the edge of a spear! Blind Oath! Do not succumb to your fear! You are one of us now, We share the sacred bond, There is no turning back, Until your death Show them the lights!
7.
Ohhhhhh Down below Initiate descend Where few have chosen to go the catacombs The ancient cobblestone Here the vulgar eye will find only obscurity The curse will come to the cursed Unenlightened burnt to ash Lambent torchlight, hidden truth Profane minds dare not intrude Or lay in anguish, and weep TOMBS OF THE BLIND OATH Who does not understand, shall either learn or be silent Throw down the heavens, lift up the earth, Harden the fountains, wash away mountains, Raise up the ghosts, cast down the gods, Extinguish the stars, illuminate hell He who does not have understanding, shall either stay silent or learn Receive the truth TOMBS OF THE BLIND OATH
8.
Fascinatrix 01:48
The dark of the night Witches take flight Invoking Baphomet's sign The pendulum swings Archangels wings Flying among the divine Fascinatrix Mandrake, henbane, Hemlock, wolfsbane The spirits come out Ecstasy dripping in crimson Fascinatrix
9.
Oh! The cold light it fades Nothing endures but the embers Of the most sacred flame For the flame, we will fight! There is no measure of darkness, other than absence of light! Let not the flame die Cherished deep in its cavern Never shall meet its demise For the flame, we will fight! There is no measure of darkness, other than absence of light! We must fight the dark. We must fight the darkness, the darkness that lives inside all of our hearts. Oh thou who burn in heart, for those who burn in hell Whose fires thyself, Shall feed in turn, how will you cry?”
10.
Black School 04:05
Three years inside the black school, My soul’s tuition spent, The devil comes to take his rent, He rips my skin from back, But does not gain a cent, It is my shadow I have lent, And for forbidden knowledge, I would sell my soul, It’s not to scratch I’ll pay the toll, Three nights to flee the devil, How he proposes it, Three nights to play my darkest tricks, First night hid in the river, The next in ashen pit, Third night in capsized boat, Believe I died to win the bet, And for forbidden knowledge, I would sell my soul, It’s not to scratch I’ll pay the toll, Angels seek me for pleasure, Demons supplant the cost, You cannot kill our magick, With sword or stolen cross! Who’s laughing now? For I am Simon Learned, The lord of all the tricks, I am the black schoolmaster now, The king of all of it!

about

From Horton Records–

Rising from Tulsa, OK, the Midwest metal purists in Blind Oath spew forth true old-school riffs, venomous howls, and hermetic lore with great ease and fluidity. They stir up a brew that comes from the spirit, and not the playbook. With a keen sense of melody, speed, and aggression, it harkens back to the early days of the underground American metal scene of the 80s. Admittedly influenced by the likes of Manilla Road, Cirith Ungol, and Brocas Helm, the band find a way to harness the lightning of those legends and find their own place in the current wave of traditional and black thrash metal outfits. The passion and fury are authentic. You can’t deny it. Heavy metal magick is real.
